Well our walk took place and I am not at my goal yet but oh so close only $300 short.  Please give what you can to help me meet my goal especially by asking others to help also.  If everyone gave just a little we would make it.

It was be a beautiful day for a walk in the park which too place in Pittsburgh on May 20, 2023.  Thank you to all who have contributed in the past and praying you will be able to help us this year as well.  We don't stop till we make CF stand for Cure Found.  We will collect donations for months after the walk but it is always nice to reach it beforehand.   I don't want to let those living with CF down & I haven't yet.  My goal is the same as the past 9 years.  This has brought many advances in treatments.   We are so grateful for ALL donations as they add up for tremendous things.

Our team name is now Amanda's Ambassadors as a tribute to her valiant fight with CF whom she lost 2 years ago now due to complications from CF.  But we are the same Team Whitbred you supported in the past ~ we just changed our name.  Her brother Jon (our son-in-law) is still doing well due to many advances as a result of many generous donors.

 We all have reasons for supporting an organization.  I have met several people living with this terminal disease.  Together we have made huge strides in helping them live more normal lives which we often take for granted.  Your support joined with many others continues to keep hope alive.

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
