Natalie is an 9 year old sweetheart who just happens to have Cystic Fibrosis. She was diagnosed with this rare genetic disease before she was even born.
Natalie is a sweet, strong, and silly little girl. She loves being outside in nature, hiking, biking, kayaking, running, soccer, and exploring. Currently, Natalie has run about a dozen 5k races and loves to hear her name called when she wins a medal. She has a big sister Hailey, and now a little siter Lucy, both who love to cheer her on and help her through her treatments.
Natalie spends over an hour when she is healthy, and up to 2 hours when she is sick on doing chest physiotherapy with her vest. She also takes around 35-40 pills a day just to eat and drink the foods that she enjoys and needs. A simple cold can put her in the hospital for weeks. Somehow, through it all, she smiles and enjoys her life just like any other 9 year old should.
Since Natalie's birth, we, along with our wonderful family and friends have come together in almost every athletic CF fundraising event. We do this to help find a cure for Natalie and so many others with this horrible disease. We also want to set a great example for our sweet girl so that she stays strong and knows how important staying active is to her health.
Thank you for supporting our team and our precious Natalie!
