My niece, Claudia, has CF.  Claudia was diagnosed at birth with CF, so this has aways been part of her life, her world. There is not a day that goes by that I  don't wish for a cure to be found.   To take away the countless pills, the breathing treatments, the jacket shaking would be a welcoming day in her world!  

Working with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has has opened my eyes even more so on what this disease is and how it affects those that have it as well as their family members.  I can't imagine what it is like to have CF.  I can't imagine having to struggle each day to breathe, to take over 20 pills, to have breathing treatments to keep my lungs clear or to have be shaken to clear my lungs.   These are routine for Claudia and those with CF.  I don't want them be.
