Join our team and help add tomorrows!
Our goal will always be to hear that a cure has been found for Cystic Fibrosis.
We have had another year of dealing with Covid and worrying about our family, especially if you have a family member who has Cystic Fibrosis and diabetes.
Ryan has had great reports from the Lung Center at Oshei and his lung function is above where he has been previously. We attribute this to the miracle drug that we call Trikafta. Among other meds, Ryan takes this twice a day, two vest therapies, one breathing treatment and also deals with Cystic Fibrosis diabetes. Ryan has a pump which delivers his insulin from a handheld device which calculates his carbs and how much insulin he needs. All this to keep him healthy.
Ryan deals with this everyday plus attends UB to get his degree in Engineering. He amazes us everyday of his strength and his determination to handle his medical needs and we pray that soon there will be a cure for Ryan and all who have Cystic Fibrosis.
We will be walking this year on Saturday, May 20th at Island Park in Williamsville. Registration is at 10 and the walk begins at 11. If you would like to donate to our team, please know that no amount is too small. If you would like to join us, please register for the walk on my Great Strides page. Our team name is Ryans Roadsters. Lunch will be provided.
