My Great Strides Story
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. By participating in Great Strides, I am helping to end this disease for thousands of people impacted by CF.
Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.
Ryan turned 21 in December. He was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when he was 3 weeks old. His latest appointment at the Lung Center was he is doing very well. Breathing treatments and medications are a part of Ryan’s daily routine. He attends UB and studying Electircal Engineering, working part time and also takes care of making his doctor appointments and ordering his meds for CF and diabeties.
Our Great Strides walk will be on May 19th at Island Park in Williamsville. The walk will begin at 11. If you would like to join our group please register online or let me know and I can register for you.
No donation is a small donation. Every penny brings us one step closer to a cure for our Ryan and everyone who has CF.
Thank you,
Glenda Pfeiffer (Ryan’s Grammy)
