My Great Strides Story
Participating in the Great Strides walk last year, after the event was cancelled for two consecutive years, was one of the highlights of 2023. I will again be walking in support of my friend Judith's grandson Connor. The walk is on Sunday, May 19th and you are welcome to join me there or in spirit.
Connor takes Trikafta, a medication that the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) helped to develop, and continues to thrive. There is, however, no cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) and it is still a life-shortening disease.
CFF is an amazing non-profit organization, funding life-changing research and providing support and education for people living with CF and their families. Funding for this work is scarce which makes CFF the world's leader in both the search for a cure for CF and treatments to improve and prolong the lives of those with CF. The funding for all of this comes from donations.
