- There is currently no cure for Cystic Fibrosis (CF). By participating in this Great Strides walk, I'm helping to promote research into treating and curing this disease for thousands of people impacted by CF.
- Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary significantly from person to person. As people with CF live longer, the disease can become more complicated, leading to additional serious health issues.
- The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure, and not everyone can benefit from them. The work is not finished.
- Your continued support makes a difference! From those of you who supported me back when I was involved with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) at the University of Maryland, to now, with my recent involvement with James Madison University's Physician Assistant Student Society's CFF Team, your encouragement (financially, socially, or otherwise) has been greatly appreciated!
Please consider joining us and helping make CF stand for Cure Found.
