Join us as we Walk With Will!
Will was diagnosed with CF at just 5 weeks old, thanks to newborn screening. Because he was diagnosed so early, we have been working daily for the past 14 years to make life as normal as possible while living with the genetic lung disease. Will has been involved in research since he was just 3 years old, helping to advance the care of not only himself but countless CF patients. The newest class of medication has without exaggeration, been a miracle drug for countless (but not all) CF patients. He does an incredible job each day doing what he needs to do to stay as healthy as possible, from breathing treatments 2-3 times a day, to handfuls of pills all to help with the various aspects of the disease.
We're back this year, with our goal of raising $14,000 for the CF Foundation, in honor of our favorite CF patient who is somehow already 14 years old!
There is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis. By participating in Great Strides, we are helping to end this disease for thousands of people impacted by CF.
Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues.
Your support makes a difference, to Will and countless patients and families.
