Reece's Monkeys

In the months of May and September, Reece’s Monkeys team members will don their team apparel and participate in walk events across the US. Please send your support via the donation button. Thank you in advance for your participation and support! 

Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-threatening, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and progressively limits the ability to breathe.

Recent newsworthy advancements in CF research have proven that every dollar donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF) is used wisely and brings us better treatments and closer to a cure for cystic fibrosis.

Reece's Monkeys Fundraising Efforts

WALKS: In 2008, family and friends of Reece participated in their first Great Strides event to show their support and raise donations for the CFF. The following year a team name was chosen and members started walking each spring as "Reece's Monkeys" (monkey shirts have been spotted in Michigan, Illinois, North Carolina, Missouri, Washington, and China). Since 2008, supporters of Reece's Monkeys have donated $75,071 to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation via Great Strides events! 

GOLF: In August of 2020, the first annual Drew Veeneman Memorial Golf Outing was held in Coopersville MI; organized by Drew's family and friends. Drew was Reece's uncle and Godfather and, as a result, a long time supporter of the CFF. In only 3 years since that first outing, the annual event has raised $32,105 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Special thanks to the organizers (Nate, Patrick, Blair, Kevin, and Jeremy), the contributors and donors, and participants.
