I was diagnosed with CF when I was one day old, had surgery and stayed in the intensive care nursery for 3 weeks before going home. Since then I've had 3 additional major surgeries, 8 (or 9, I can't keep track) sinus surgeries, numerous procedures and hospital stays, hundreds of doctor appointments, more than my share of Emergency Room visits and even a ride in an ambulance. In the last few years, I've had to endure weeks and weeks of continuous intravenous antibiotic infusions. When things are "normal", I spend about 2 hours each day doing my vest or chest physiotherapy and nebulizer treatments to keep me healthy.
The CF Foundation needs your help to continue funding life-saving research needed to improve the lives of those suffering from this awful disease, and ultimately, to find a cure for CF. There are approximately 30,000 people in the US living with cystic fibrosis. 30,000 men, women, and children who struggle every day just to breathe. Please help us by supporting the CF Foundation in its quest for a cure for people like me. Every dollar counts and no amount is too small. Your gift will help add tomorrows for people struggling with CF. Your gift is also 100% tax deductible. You can click the button at the top of my page that says "Donate to Me", or you can mail your donation to me at:
