Dear friends and family,
Living with Cystic Fibrosis (CF) has become an integral part of my niece’s daily life. Emily is now 20 years old and continues her fight against this invisible yet chronic disease. A couple of years ago I talked about a new drug that was coming out called Symdeko. This disease-modifying drug was made available to Emily when her lung function was at an all time low. While it is not a cure, this drug has significantly improved Emily's lung function and in the first time in years Emily has been able to stop taking multiple antibiotics.
The research required to create and test this drug would not have been possible without the funds raised for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. We will not stop fighting for a cure until Emily can say, “I no longer have CF”! I live for this day and will do whatever it takes to help make this become reality.
Please join our "virtual" team, walk and help fund raise with us! If not possible, please consider a tax-deductible donation!
Thank you for your support! We are so hopeful for Emily’s future with the opportunities and potential drugs that will ultimately add tomorrows to Emily’s life today!
