We walk as family and friends. We walk because those we lost cant
Bryce and Beau are my two sons with Cystic Fibrosis. Bryce was diagnosed at 6 weeks and Beau was diagnosed at birth. We have had 30 years of CF life as parents
The boys have an older sister Brittney who does not have CF but when she was younger wished she did so she could be like her brothers bless her heart.
We lost Bryce to CF at age 26 (almost 4 years ago ) and I am not ready to lose Beau who will be turning 28 this year. Honestly no parent should lose a child, grown or not to CF. No family should need to watch their loved one suffer.
Beau is now 27 and works out and eats right and is doing really well.
Bryce was a best friend to Beau and Brittney. Bryce was a good friend to so many
Bryce was everyones hero... we miss him everyday
I started the Great Strides Walk over 25 years ago when it was a few CF families that walked together. We walked and talked just to share our stories. My family and friends helped support me throughout my organizing days of the walk here in SLC.
Our team may not bring high $$ but this team brings love and support of each other. i do not want one more mom to lose a child regardless of their age. I do not want one more parent grandparent or sibling to lose a loved one to CF.
I love my kids so much. I would often tell Bryce I would take the pain and suffering for him if I could.
Bryce would always say I'm ok mom Im ok I just wanted to make life better for All my kids.
Bryce was a trooper and fought as long as he could. Bryce loved rock n roll and Motley Crue was his favorite band ... that is why Team Bryce Crue is a perfect team name
Join our team or donate what you can
We fight until there is a cure
We fight because we lost Bryce
We fight because we need to keep Beau around
We fight because we love our kids and CF does not get to win this battle
WE FIGHT UNTIL ITS DONE
