Welcome to My Personal Page
When my brother Ben and I were first diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis our parents were told we would possibly live to be 12 years old. This year on December 28th I am going to be 40 years old and on December 20th Ben will be turning 42. This isn't just monumental, it's a miracle. It's a day that I never thought would come and one that I have looked forward to with great anticipation. 2018 was truly one of my hardest years to date. If I've learned anything this past year it's that tomorrow is not guaranteed and every day truly is a gift. I am so thankful that I was able to get through those most difficult times and continue to make incredible memories. It truly is because of my faith, my family and my friends.
This year one of my goals is to live with real intent and to help make a difference. In thinking about exactly how to do that I have decided to promote a Great Strides team. Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest and most successful national fundraising event. I've been to the walk for the past couple years with a handful of people, but this year would love for any family and friends that could join us to do so. The goal that I have for our team is to raise $4000.00 because Im turning 40! I know that this is a lofty goal but with everybody's help I think it is achievable. I have designed shirts for our walk this year and would love for each person that signs up to order a shirt and wear it the day of the walk. All proceeds after cost of the shirt will go directly to the CF Foundation under our team Miracles Happen.
Please donate to this cause, every dollar counts and helps with research to find a cure so that one day CF can stand for cure found.
