We walk for our brave Super George!
Our sweet George was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis two weeks after he was born. Cystic fibrosis is a chronic, life threatening illness that causes persistent lung infections and limits the ability to breathe over time. There is no cure for this devastating disease.
George is now 8 years old and bravely fights CF everyday thanks to medications, breathing treatments, and our wonderful pulmonary team.
We are grateful for all the medications and treatments because we know they literally sustain George’s life, allowing him to absorb nutrients in his food, thin mucus in his lungs, and fight harmful infections. Donations to the CF Foundation made medications like this possible... and your continued support will advance the science that will one day lead to a cure.
Over the past 8 years, Team Super George has raised over $290,000 for the CF Foundation, and we are forever grateful for the family and friends who have joined our quest for a cure. We hope that you will stay in the fight with us until CF does indeed stand for Cure Found.
From our hearts to yours, thank you.
