Dear Family and Friends,
Hello again. I trust this email finds you safe and well. It is that time of year and we are getting ready for the annual CFF Great Strides walk (In Person). You probably heard from me last year but our best friend Bridget & Mike Lane’s daughter Mary-Alice was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when she was 2 months old. She is 17 years old now and is doing well. We are working on raising money for the Great Strides, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s annual event to raise money to cure Cystic Fibrosis (CF). We raised over $10,000.00 last year and we hope to raise even more this year with the help of all of you. Thanks for contributing last year. Your donation will be well spent as 90 cents of every dollar raised by the CF Foundation is used to support its vital programs and research. Your donations have helped, in the following way, in the past year.
CF is a life-threatening genetic disease that affects the respiratory and digestive systems of tens of thousands of children and young adults. As many of you know, Mary-Alice was diagnosed with this genetic disease. Currently there is no cure, but researchers are optimistic that with the recent advances in genetic research there will be one within Mary-Alice’s lifetime.
On Sunday, May 1, 2022 at 2:00pm, we will be doing our Great Strides walk at Tennessee Riverpark 4301 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga, TN. It would be wonderful if you could join our Team, “Lake Walkers for Mary-Alice”, but if you are unable to participate, please consider making a monetary contribution to this cause by sponsoring us in the Walk. Your tax deductible donation can be made payable to the “CF Foundation” and mailed to our home address: 9080 Ivyshaw Landing, Gainesville GA, 30506 or it is safe and secure to click DONATE TO ME and donate via credit card directly to CF. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
If you would like more information on Cystic Fibrosis or the Great Strides, please see www.cff.org
Thank you for your consideration and support!
