Since 2012, my journey supporting the cystic fibrosis (CF) community has been close to home. College connected me to a lifelong best friend who lives with CF, and I quickly became familiar with his drive to live life to the fullest in everything he does. My passion for the CF Foundation has since aimed to match that lively spirit.
The efforts of volunteers and donors around the world have enabled the CF Foundation to better support those with CF. Importantly, volunteer efforts have helped provide resources that have led to amazing clinical developments that greatly improve daily life for people living with CF. Yet, many people with CF do not benefit from existing therapies.
Nearly 40,000 people in the United States have CF: a progressive, genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. Our vision is a cure for every person with cystic fibrosis – a life free from the burden of this disease – and we will not leave anyone behind.
You can support me!
By supporting my fundraising goal, you have an opportunity in your lifetime to be part of ending this disease. Please consider joining us and help make medical history.
