In 2016 Emmett was born with a blockage as a complication of having CF. He underwent a sucessful surgery at 2 days old. At two months old it was discovered he also had a liver blockage as yet another complication of CF. By the grace of God, after those surgeries past him, Emmett continues to thrive.

However, his normal daily regiment includes breathing treatments twice a day ( up to 4 times a day when sick) as well as taking 40 pills a day just to make certain his body absorbs his intake calories. Not to mention other medicines for CF related reflux issues and extra daily vitamin needs.

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe.
