My Great Strides Story
Bethany was diagnosed with CF at 3 months and Mackenzie at birth. Between the two sisters, they have had their own battles to face when it comes to CF. Despite the countless medications, doctor visits, hospitalizations, surgeries, etc, the sister’s have always shown resilience. Mackenzie received the gift of life during her double lung transplant October 28th of 2019 and is now starting the next chapter of her life. She is pursuing her dreams and passions again and creating a life for herself due to her selfless donor. Bethany is now married and a mother to a special boy named Archie. All of these things are made possible by donating to the foundation to further research. Through the medical advancements and science, we are adding tomorrows. Please donate to our CF community and help make CF stand for cure found.
Cystic fibrosis affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs. The symptoms can vary from person to person, and as people with CF live longer than ever before, their disease can become more complicated, leading to serious health issues.
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress — including fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments — but these treatments are not a cure and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
Your support makes a difference.
By donating to my fundraising goal, you will help advance our mission for a cure for all. Please consider joining us and helping make CF stand for Cure Found.
