Strides for Savannah

Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s  largest fundraising event and team “Strides for Savannah” needs your help!  We hope that you will consider to either join our team and fundraise with us or make a donation to help us meet our goal. As many of you know, Savannah has CF and we have been fighting for her health ever since she was diagnosed in the first month of her life. Because of fundraising efforts Savannah has been able to start a breakthrough drug called Trikafta. It has made such a difference and we are so grateful. Normally, Savannah would have a lung infection every couple months which meant multiple courses of antibiotics, hospital stays and IVs. On the Trikafta Savannah has been healthy, has normal lung function and is able to be very active- even playing on a rigorous and competitive volleyball team. However she is not free from all the effects of CF. She still takes enzymes with every meal, multiple vitamins and maintains high exercise routine to help keep her lungs clear. We are on the right track but not quite at a cure yet so we can't stop now.

Which is why I am reaching out to you. Won't you please consider making a donation to help me and my family fight Cystic Fibrosis or will you join our team and walk with us on Saturday May 20th at Brier Creek Park in Morrisville?

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them. Will you join me and support our fundraising goal?
