My Great Strides Story
Our CF story started December 5, 1990 with the birth of our first son. There was no record of CF births in my wife’s family tree or mine but there or son was, a newborn CF warrior. We learned every horrible truth about CF and researched every hope for a cure. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was already up and running finding treatments that would soon extend the lives of all CFers. Nineteen months after our first son was born our second son was also born with CF. And now we have two reasons to work for a cure. Since the births of our sons we have worked to find a cure through almost every type of fundraising you can imagine. We are so close to a cure but not there yet.
