There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.

I am participating in the Huntington Beach 2023 Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis on May 20th and want you to join me! For more than 30 years, Great Strides – the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event – has helped fuel the Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and raise awareness for this rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe.

I was introduced to this wonderful foundation by the University of La Verne's Iota Delta Sorority and have chosen to participate in it as much as possible, but now I want you to join me in my endeavor. By participating, you can help accelerate our pursuit of new therapies and provide vital support to meet the evolving needs of our community. Advances in new gene-based technologies represent an unprecedented opportunity to end CF as we know it. We are committed to exploring all science that has real potential to deliver a cure – and the funds raised at Great Strides will help us reach our goal.
