Cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, progressive, and ultimately fatal disease currently affects more than 70,000 people worldwide. With approximately 1,000 new cases of CF diagnoses each year, it is clear there needs to be a change.
These are babies, sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, friends, and loved ones to many. To us, he is Joel. For his entire life, Joel has had a routine that includes various medications, IVs, breathing treatments, hospital stays for several weeks at a time, intense surgeries, and overall anguish. Each day, he requires an oxygen tank due to a low funtioning lung capacity, and extreme fatigue. In spite of all this, he remains hopeful, in good spirits, and our hero.
We want nothing more than to see him and the thousands of people dealing with CF smile another day.
Help us add tomorrows by joining our team and donating today :) Even if you can't participate in the walk, any amount helps.
The walk will take place Saturday, June 3rd at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park in Ontario, CA.
Thank you to everyone. We appreciate your support.
