Cystic Fibrosis is a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas and other organs. There are approximately 40,000 children and adults living with CF. A whopping 105,000 have been diagnosed in 94 countries. Cystic Fibrosis causes persistent lung functions and limits the ability to breathe over time. Those living with the disease are family, friends, neighbors and co-workers, all fighting to breathe. We walk for them!
While there has been noteworthy progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut short. By taking part in CF great strides, we are helping to add tomorrows to the lives of people living with Cystic Fibrisis today.
