We again humbly ask for your support of our COWABUNGA CHAMP and the entire CF community.
Champ is incredibly happy and doing very well. He is a typical eight-year-old boy who is considerate, kind and super active. He is constantly thinking and making us laugh. He is playing soccer and baseball and continues to enjoy surfing and boogie boarding.
In his second year of Trikafta, we are pleased Champ continues to respond well to it. Recently, adult patients on Trikafta have undergone a clinical study to see if breathing treatments can lessen or be eliminated from the daily routine, which can take upwards of an hour each day. Happily, there are many positive reports coming out to say that this in fact might become a reality in the not-so-far off future for our Champ and others! This would be a game changer for CF patients to take one big step toward a “normal” daily routine, something we have prayed for since Champ's diagnosis.
Your support has made trials like this possible, and we are confident that with continued investigation and support, better therapies and breakthrough medicines are yet to come.
Thank you for your continued efforts in making CF stand for CURE FOUND!
With oceans of love and waves of gratitude...
