Cystic fibrosis is a rare, genetic disease; it progressively limits one's ability to breathe and tragically shortens life. There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with CF.
One of those people is my buddy, Coleman. He is three years old, loves dinosaurs and balloons, started preschool like he'd been going for years, and has a laugh that makes everything feel better. He was also diagnosed with CF shortly after he was born.
I am proud to be joining his family in supporting the CF Foundation through Great Strides with team COLEMAN FOR THE CURE.
Great Strides will not be in person this year; however, we ask that you participate by donating to our team and/or pledging to walk, run, swim, or bike 3.1 miles (5K) on September 19 and share photos in your team shirts to social media to raise support and awareness.
Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. By donating to Great Strides, you can help accelerate the Foundation’s pursuit of new therapies and provide vital support to meet the needs of the CF community.
Your participation will help us get one step closer to ending this terrible disease. Let’s send Coleman some love and make CF stand for Cure Found.
