Hello Everyone!! Our Great Strides Walk will be in person again this year at Doko Meadows Park in Blythewood on April 20, 2024. Please consider joining our team and coming out to walk with us. We would love to have you join us if you're able!!

Riley is now 22 years old (a feat that would not have happened in years past) and because of wonderful donors like you, we hope that he lives well into old age. Riley is studying at The University of South Carolina for a future career in teaching, and more specifically the teaching of Spanish/foreign languages.  We look forward to seeing where life takes him and cannot wait to see the impact he makes on this world. He is a phenomenal human being, full of compassion, wit, and intelligence. He spends his non-school time working at Chick-fil-A, spending time with his girlfriend, and taking care of his pet chinchilla, Boris.

He continues to be on the medication Trikafta which helps to correct the basic genetic defect that causes the life-threatening symptoms of CF. He has a wonderful pulmonologist that works with adults with CF and he has become completely independent in managing his own healthcare needs. He has gone quite awhile without any major GI issues and has been able to stay out of the hospital which we are very grateful for!!

Many of the opportunities Riley has are because of donors like you and the persistent and complex research and advocacy of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
