As many of you know my beautiful niece Karsyn Richer has Cystic Fibrosis.  Your donations kept Karsyn healthy, out of the ICU and with the best lung function she has had since she was 7!  She has been taking Trikafta for the past four years and is doing amazing on it which is entirely due to your donations.  This year we had a slight set back and she spend her 15th birthday back in the hospital, other than that she is living the teenage life!  Just about to finish her freshman year, is active in the drama department and plays tennis, she even has her first boyfriend, but shhh her mom doesn’t know!  We need to continue to fight to find a cure so Karsyn and all those impacted by CF can continue to enjoy these monumental milestones many of us take for granted!   We need your continued support!!!!

This year I will be doing the annual Great Strides walk at Liberty Station on June 1st to raise funds for Karsyn and for all those affected by CF so we can continue to see advances like Tikafta. We need your help and you can still make a difference!

For more than 30 years, Great Strides – the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s largest national fundraising event – has helped fuel the Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis and raise awareness for this rare, genetic, life-shortening disease that makes it difficult to breathe.

Thanks to generous donors and volunteers, the CF Foundation has made remarkable progress over the past six decades. People with CF are living longer than in the past, yet we still lose precious young lives every day.
