Hi Everyone!
So this will be our 18th year doing the Great Strides walk for Cystic Fibrosis for our daughter, Tess. In the past 17 years we have raised over $180,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Our goal this year is to hit $200,000!
Tess, is one of approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. She spends hours every day doing chest therapy, breathing treatments, sinus rinses, and taking various other medicines to maintain her health. Even with all that, CF is still a progressive disease that, over time, will take its toll on her body. She tries to handle all of this as best she can and still be a kid, but some days are harder than others. On May 19th my family, friends, and I will walk for Tess and for all those afflicted with this disease. I hope you will support me in my efforts.
Tess has been taking a new FDA approved CF drug, called Trikafta, since December 2019. This drug has been life changing. It is helping Tess fight this disease and slow it's progression. Since starting this drug it has greatly improved her health and lung function and kept her out of the hospital. But we still need to keep researching and finding more drugs to help all Tess and all those with CF. I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me?
Support me by making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!
