Leland's Dream Team

This will be our 13th year supporting Great Strides for Leland and about 6 more for our nephew Kyle. 

Leland has had a great year being over one year on Trikafta. His lung function is averaging 86%, he has grown to 5 feet tall, has removed inhaled saline and pulmozyme from his daily treatments and participated in two clinical trials. He is pre-diabetic and starting to test his blood glucose each month to monitor that progress. This is normal for patients with Cystic Fibrosis since it takes a toll on their organs. The damage done by this disease will be with him for life, but the progress that Trikafta has made in his life is fantastic and will slow down further lung damage. He still cultures psuedomonis and takes an inhaled medicine once daily, every other month for that.
