As most of you know, my nephew Charlie was born in 2011 and diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at only a few days old. My family was devasted with this diagnosis, as we know there is currently no cure for this disease. Fortunately, thanks to advances in technology, our hope is restored, as a cure is literally around the corner. Billions of dollars are being spent on research in finding a cure. As Charlie's aunt, I will do whatever I can to make sure we find a cure in Charlie's lifetime. Please support me as I walk at the Cleveland Zoo in the Great Strides Event for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, by making a donation that will go toward this research and technology. Any amount that you can donate would be appreciated. Please help so that we can find a cure for Charlie.
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them and hope you will support me in my efforts.
Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease. By walking today, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me? Support me by making a donation to my Great Strides fundraising campaign today!
Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
