Dear Friends,
It is that time of the year again! Our annual Great Strides walk to benefit cystic fibrosis is right around the corner, and we would love for your support.
We continue to make advances in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis. In the past 24 years, our Mahoning/Trumbull walk has raised over $900,000! Nearly every drug available for cystic fibrosis today was made possible because of CF Foundation’s support and generosity of donors and friends like you. As a person who fights my own battle with CF, and now 48 years of age, I am a true testament of how new medications and therapies have improved my quality of life. I recently started a new medication, Trikafta. My life has changed dramatically.
My 26th teaching has brought about some changes …I am currently teaching 6th grade at Niles Middle School. We are actually holding a wrap-around event for the walk at school this year. I am hoping to receive $65 donations for students to walk 65 minutes in support of CF. If you are interested in supporting, please make your donation online. Of course, any donation is greatly appreciated … no amount is too small! I hope this will be a great success!
Your support is what keeps me going. It means more than words could ever express. If you would like to make a contribution, checks can be made payable to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and sent to our address:
