The McLaughlin family welcomes you to our fundraising page and thanks you for helping CF stand for Cure Found!

Our journey started in 1982 when our son Ryan was diagnosed at 6 months old with Cystic Fibrosis. Then in 1984 his sister Ashley was born and diagnosed at birth. Throughout the years Ryan and Ashley had many hospitalizations, daily breathing treatments and countless trips to the doctors along with daily medicine just to keep them alive.

Sadly on February 14th, 2011, Ryan lost his battle with CF at the age of 29. He was surrounded with love and strength from his family as he took his last breath, forever igniting our flame to find a cure for CF.

Ashley still fights daily to keep his legacy going and to see her child grow old. At 39, Ashley has accomplished tremendous battles with against CF and fighting to stay alive. With each battle she is determined to live longer than the median age and with each obstacle she looks to her brother for strength.
