There are approximately 35,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them and hope you will support me in my efforts.
Funds raised through great strides helps support our CF Center, helping provide clinical care, research, education and advocacy.
New therapies developed through research supported by Great Strides are saving lives.
However we need to provide EQUITY in our care of all persons with CF. Nearly 40% of patients that ARE NOT eligible for current highly effective therapies are people of color (black and brown persons with CF). We need to fund new approaches for these people such as RNA and DNA therapies.
