Help support Team Thomas in the fight against Cystic Fibrosis!
This is a momentous year for our family, with so many reasons to celebrate. In the coming months, our son Thomas will celebrate his 18th birthday, graduate from high school, and begin college. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) is a serious genetic illness that affects the respiratory and digestive systems. Thomas was diagnosed with CF at birth and has devoted hours of each day of his life to respiratory treatments, and diligently taking numerous medications just to maintain baseline health. The recent advances made in treating CF have been nothing short of miraculous and enable CF patients like Thomas to pursue their dreams and live their lives in ways we never imagined. We've come so far, but there's so much work to do. There is still no cure for CF.
Great Strides is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's largest fundraising event. This year, Team Thomas will participate in the Portland walk on Saturday, May 18th, at Oaks Amusement Park. There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with CF. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. We walk for them. Will you join us and support our fundraising goal?
We are at a pivotal moment in the history of cystic fibrosis, and your support matters. With your help, we can invest in research today while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line. Please help us make CF stand for CURE FOUND!
