What a crazy year we've had. Great Strides was put completely on hold for us last year and we ended up having to miss out on our second silent auction and team walk. This year, although it still can't be what we want, I wanted to open our team back up and try and do as much as we can for the cystic fibrosis foundation. We owe so much to them and so many thanks. Let's keep the momentum up and continue to raise money for this wonderful organization that's adding tomorrow's to many people with cystic fibrosis.
We owe so much to the CFF. Because of their efforts, Trikafta was made readily available for many CFers last year. My twin daughters, who just turned 8 years old, being two of them! The twins started Trikafta in September of 2020 and the changes are quite honestly breath taking. We no longer hear wheezy, junky coughs, a sound that became such a normal thing in our household. The twins are able to run, play and laugh WITHOUT coughing. They feel like normal kids now who can enjoy the fun things in life without the setbacks they were so accustomed to before. Their lungs are clear! Trikafta has quite honestly given them a second shot at life. I hope and pray these positive results continue for the rest of their lives. I see so much hope that I never did before.
This is all thanks to people like YOU who donate to the CFF every year. Every single cent raised counts and goes towards adding more days to these precious peoples future.
