Thank you to anyone who supported our efforts last year for our very first CF Walk! Maybel has had an amazing year of continuing to grow. Since our last walk, she has become eligible for a new medication that targets the route of CF instead of just relieving symptoms. She has hit all of her 1-year-old milestones and this March is scheduled to finally have her feeding tube removed! Maybel will turn 2 just before the walk this year, hopefully making her eligible for another new medication - someday maybe even allowing her to stop some of her other medications and daily treatments.
Maybel has added such joy to our family and I am so proud to be her aunt. She is strong and happy and she is a fighter with two of the most amazing parents. But she, and all who live with CF, need your help. Developments and treatments are making great strides every day and it's fundraisers like this that help keep that progress going and bring a community of people together. Just in the past few years, there have been significant advancements in CF research and treatments
There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I walk for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal?
Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. I will not stop striding until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.
Please support me!
We are at a pivotal moment in the history of cystic fibrosis and your support matters. With your help, we can invest our resources in research today, while raising funds for tomorrow, to ensure we have what it takes to reach the finish line. Together, we can make CF stand for Cure Found. Please help me reach my fundraising goal!
