There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, friends, and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. We walk for them and hope you will support us in our efforts. Great Strides is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness and support for people with CF and their families.
Our daughter, Stella was diagnosed with shortly after she was born in June of 2017. She spent the first ten days of her life in the hospital recovering for a complication (related to CF) and we spent the first ten days alongside her (on pins and needles). It was apparent from the onset that this was no ordinary kid. She took everything in stride, with a calmness that we, her parents, couldn't muster. After she recovered, we began to shed our fear of the disease. We asked ourselves what we could do to help not just our daughter, but others that suffer from CF and those who love them.
Real, tangible, progress has been for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. By walking today, we are helping add tomorrows and improve the quality of the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. We humbly ask for your participation, either by donating to our campaign or walking with us.
Help us reach our fundraising goal by donating to our Great Strides fundraising campaign. Your gift will help add tomorrows to the lives of people with cystic fibrosis by supporting groundbreaking research and medical progress. Your gift is 100-percent tax deductible.
