Our Cycle for Life Story

Double Lung Transplant! I know that is what I was saying as our photo was snapped at the 2019 Cycle For Life. That is my husband, Steve, me, Lois and Joe McBryan. Our daughter-in-law, Stephanie Stroh, and McBryan's daughter, Mary Asher, required double lung transplants in 2019 to survive complications from Cystic Fibrosis. Our personal stories are available on our individual fund-raising pages. Our jerseys depict the two sisters that inspired us to form a team: Stepahnie Stroh and Bridget Dulaney. Bridget and many others have died far too young from complications caused by CF. There is new hope! Most recently, a new drug has been developed which provides great improvements in breathing functionality. Our team is proud that Stephanie participated in that clinical trial. These advancements are made in large part because of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. They work to make CF stand for "Cure Found".
We would love for you to join our team, make a donation, or volunteer. There are 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, sons, daughters, friends and co-workers who struggle every day just to breathe. Help us raise funds to support the CF Foundation’s mission of finding a cure and improving the lives of those living with CF.
