Welcome to my Page
No one is promised a tomorrow, but as someone who has Cystic Fibrosis, I am constantly reminded of this. I reached a milestone this year, turning 40. I was diagnosed at 22 months old, and my parents were told their baby boy wouldn’t live to see his 12th birthday. Being a father now myself, I still can't quite fathom how they handled the weight of that news. Fast-forward to today, my friends, family, coaches, teammates and co-workers know that I have never let Cystic Fibrosis define me. At a very early age I started facing adversity and it taught me to take on challenges head on and not to take life for granted.
I fight every day for my health and for my family. My wish is to breathe easy and for my daughter, Brooke, to have her father here in her life for as long as possible.
This will be our 13th Cycle For Life ride. If you can join team RAB and ride with us, make a contribution, or simply wish us luck, it all means everything to Anne and I.
Each year we are getting closer and closer to a cure. We have never been closer than we are today. My family's hope is that a cure is right around the corner.
