The Cape Cod Chain Gang team will be back to cycle IN-PERSON for the Cystic Fibrosis (CF) Cycle for Life in Rhode Island!!! Many wonderful friends have joined this beautiful ride over the years. All routes, 12, 23 or 62 miles, start and end at Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery - need I say more?!

I am so grateful for the support of family, colleagues and friends. Battling CF is a constant and exhausting endeavor. CF robs me and other individuals with CF of lung function everyday. Some days it can be a struggle just to breathe. On the good days, I appreciate the simplicity and gift of breath, something I never take for granted. All of my days start and end with multiple breathing treatments and efforts to clear my lungs of mucus.

Because of events like this ride that raise money to fund research, we celebrated a tremendous breakthrough for people with cystic fibrosis in late 2019. The FDA approved a ‘triple combination’ drug, Trikafta, that benefits more than 90 percent of people with CF and allows them to breathe easier.
