Welcome to my Page
I am riding the CF Ride For Life with Team Gov Bob in honor of my cousin Kelly Johnson, and for the 30,000 other people living in the United States with cystic fibrosis.
Things have been busy at home and I haven’t had as much time for riding this summer as I did in prior years. I thought about taking this year off and returning next year. But here’s the thing: CF doesn’t take a break, and I just couldn’t bring myself to say I would take one this year, either! I’m participating in the 30 mile ride this year, on October 2nd.
Once again, our team rides to support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and their mission to cure cystic fibrosis and to provide all people with the disease the opportunity to lead full, productive lives by funding research and drug development, promoting individualized treatment, and ensuring access to high-quality, specialized care.
Although tremendous progress has been made in the search for a permanent cure for cystic fibrosis, the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short, and there still is no cure for this devastating disease.
And here's what's important to know: nearly every CF drug currently available was made possible through the support of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
By cycling, I am helping add tomorrows to the lives of all people living with cystic fibrosis. Will you join me? Kindly support me by making a donation to my CF Cycle for Life fundraising campaign today!
As a thank you to those that are donating, Ryan and I will be raffling off a beautiful, colorful quilt handmade by Karen - it's a small way of saying thanks for your continued support - I am so grateful!
Thank you for helping me reach my fundraising goal!
