Our Cycle for Life Story

WRC Team Mona is riding in support of our beautiful little girl Mona. Mona was born in the summer of 2019 and diagnosed just shortly after birth. We ride to help add tomorrows to her life as well as the lives of all people living with cystic fibrosis today.

Cystic fibrosis is a rare, genetic disease causing persistent lung infections and limiting the ability to breath over time. Sixty years ago, most children with cystic fibrosis did not live long enough to attend elementary school. Today, many people with CF are living into their 30s, 40s and beyond. Thanks to tremendous advancements in research, treatments, and care, many people with CF are living long enough to realize their dreams of attending college, pursuing careers, getting married, and having kids. While there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short.
