Welcome to my Page

Some of you may recall that have  a neurological disorder that has limited some of the things that I can do. 

I am happy to say that with the help of my family, physical therapist’s, an exercise program and support from others, I’ve made great strides. My quality of life has followed suit. 

Riding my recumbent stationary bike has made all the difference. I’m happy to be using  it to raise awareness of and to contribute to work done by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 

I chose to ride to honor some folks. First, good friend Patty Osten, yes her, provided me with a special walker that has helped me learn  to walk safely again. Her ongoing advice has been critical.

Next, and the reason I can participate, I'm honoring old high school friends, Nan Treyz and Todd Cedarholm. They provided me with the excellent elliptical stationary bike that I will be riding. That gift has given me the strength to handle my body.

The Physical Therapists at the Berkshire VNA gave me the exercises I needed to prevent falls and be comfortable walking.

 I have had many friends and family members who have supported me.  

Finally, My wife Amy has been my rock through this whole thing. 

I have chosen to support this organization and do my small part to help folks with CF have a better life!

Info about CF:

There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. They are moms, dads, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons, and friends who struggle every day just to breathe. I cycle for them. Will you join me and support my fundraising goal? 

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short.
