My CF Cycle for Life Story

I'm cycling to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis (CF) in honor of my friends Sam and Dave's daughter, Grace. Born with CF, Grace has faced numerous challenges, but thanks to advancements in treatment and incredible resilience, she is now thriving and will soon celebrate her 8th birthday. However, there is currently no cure for cystic fibrosis, and the battle is far from over.

CF affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs, with symptoms that can vary greatly from person to person. As people with CF are living longer than ever before, the disease can become increasingly complicated, leading to serious health issues. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has made extraordinary progress, fostering the development of more than a dozen CF treatments. Yet, these treatments are not a cure, and not everyone can benefit from them. We must keep going.
