Welcome to my Page
2023 marks the 11th year that I've been part of Team Centinel, riding for Cystic Fibrosis research! The event is always on my calendar a year in advance as I look forward to this bike ride all year.
The first Saturday of October, rain or shine, I will be there to raise money and spread awareness of Cystic Fibrosis which is a genetic disease that affects the lungs, breathing and quality of life. Up until recently, most people born with the condition could only expect to live to age 20. Thankfully, there have been breakthroughs in research and people can now live significantly longer with some even living past 60.
I was late to start my ride training this year, but the last few weeks have been beautiful to be outside and every time I jump on a bike, I credit the CF ride for getting me back into cycling, something I enjoyed as a youth. Last year was the first year back since the COVID pause and it was very special-- it has been going on for 25+ years. The whole Cystic Fibrosis Community and I would be grateful if you would consider donating to this worthy cause.
I WILL be riding 30 miles on September 30 to raise money and awareness to fight this disease and get one step closer to a cure. Please use the link below to access my page and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
Most Sincerely,
Peter Sechoka
Please help me reach myfundraising goal and donate an amount that is meaningful to you!
