Our wonderful nephew, Jeff, is among the approximately 40,000 worldwide who live with cystic fibrosis. Naomi and I have taken pride in cycling for him and everyone who must cope with CF every day.

One fundraising effort sponsored by the CFF is the "Cycle for Life." Our family has been using this as our means to help improve awareness about CF and raise funds for research for over a decade

Real progress has been made for those who have CF, but there is still no cure for this devastating disease and many lives are cut far too short. We’ve come so far, but there’s still so much work to do. 

These advances could not have been achieved without the necessary funding. Contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation have allowed this lifesaving research to make great strides in finding a cure and improving the symptoms of the disease.

But we will not stop cycling until all those with cystic fibrosis have a cure. We will not leave anyone behind.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has scheduled this year's ride for Saturday, June 1st.  Naomi and I have begun  training -- I will be cycling on June 1st. She and I will cycle 30+ miles together on a different date.
