There are approximately 30,000 Americans living with cystic fibrosis. I care for many of those who struggle every day just to breathe. I ride for them, for Becca, and for all those people with CF that I have known and loved.

I hope you will support me in my efforts. Each year it is so reflective for me. I have 37 miles of riding time to remember all those that have helped and guided me through my struggle as a parent of a child/young adult with CF. I also take time to remember just how many kids I have known and cared for as a respiratory therapist that I have lost to this horrific disease.

Real progress has been made in the search for a cure, but the lives of people with CF are still cut far too short. There still is no cure for this devastating disease but with our efforts throughout these past 36 years(since Becca was diagnosed) we have helped fund the medications that are life changing for those dealing with CF today! The CF Cycle for Life is a unique event that empowers cyclists to take action and demonstrate their fight in finding a cure for cystic fibrosis in a tangible, emotional and powerful way. It will be a struggle for me, but not like the struggle Becca lived for her short 22 years.
