Our Cycle for Life Story

What ever you do, there's a Reason! Ride with us because you look ridiculously good looking in a red and white biking jersey!

We are a whole team with different Reasons to why we ride!  Find your Reason, and join our team! We're raising awareness, donations and glasses!

Team Roses for a Reason is all about keeping the good times** rolling! **includes but is not limited to laughing, great joy, making fun of each other, getting lost on the ride, fundraisers in bars, fundraisers anywhere, and life in general.

I am the Team Leader, Kaitlyn Rose. My middle name, Rose was given to me by chance. But shortly after I recieved the name, my parents recieved my diagnosis.  I have Cystic Fibrosis or CF.   CF is often called '65 Roses' as young children struggle to pronounce Cystic Fibrosis.  So, like we do with everything in life, we rolled with it, and Team Roses for a Reason is born! 

30,000 Americans; boys, girls, women and men, all call themselves CFers! Well, I call them CFers.  We are the people living with CF. My name is Kaitlyn Rose (by chance or for a reason, whatever you believe!) 

Cycle for Life is the party thrown by the CFF to raise money, heart rates and glasses for ongoing research for CFF.  This year, my family and friends will gather at the Conshehoken Brewing company to say THANK YOU to the foundation that gives me life. After 35 miles of riding, of course!

 

It is the research funded by the CFF has raised the life expectancy from mid-teens to late 40's in my life time.  AND WE ARE CLOSE TO A CURE!  Here's how you can join us:
