Welcome to my Page
Cystic fibrosis is a rare, genetic disease found in about 30,000 people in the U.S. I became involved withe the foundation after the loss of my friend Shannon. Although I knew Shannon had CF I never really knew what CF was and it took her passing for me to be educated on it. Losing Shannon got me involved with CF but the amazing families I have met along the way keeps my focus on fundraising and getting that much closer to a cure. We won't stop until CF means Cure Found.
While there has been significant progress in treating this disease, there is still no cure and too many lives are cut far too short. By participating in CF Cycle for Life, I ride to help add tomorrows to the lives of all people living with cystic fibrosis today. Please make a difference and support me by donating to my CF Cycle for Life fundraising campaign today!
As many people know I got involved with CF Fundraising when a childhood friend passed away after receiving a double lung transplant. Shannon was an amazing spirit who is never forgotten.
Since 2008 I have met so many other families who have been affected by CF. Some of our closest friends have CF or have family members with CF. I have seen the daily struggles, the vests, the breathing tratments, lobbying congress to pass healthcare initiatives helping CF patients. I have watched parents sit and wait to see if their child qualifies for new drugs on the market. I have seen their struggle. But what I have also seen is the amazing support group who are painstakingly biking, hiking, laughing, cooking, drinking, golfing, pretty much anything for a cure.
CF Cycle for Life is a unique event that empowers me, along with other cyclists across the nation to take action and help find a cure for cystic fibrosis...
Please help me reach my fundraising goal and donate an amount that is meaningful to you!
