About Our CF Cycle for Life

The 2023 CF Cycle for Life event is heading to the GAP trail again! The event will offer multiple distance options with support so that you can challenge your mind and body while having a whole lotta fun. This ride will be fully supported with bike techs, rest stops, and a fantastic Finish Line Festival with food and beverages to refuel from your ride.

Every CF Cycle for Life participant is driven by a dream that all people with cystic fibrosis should have the chance to live a long, healthy life. By joining us at CF Cycle for Life, you can help make a difference for people living with CF.

Cycle for Life will host 3 different routes this year:

65 Miles – Start in Connellsville and cycle the beautiful GAP trail to the Finish Line Festival on Washington’s Landing.  There are accommodations at the start line if you would like to spend the night, or use our shuttle to take you to Connellsville the morning of the event.  Registration opens at 6am at Washington’s Landing (600 Waterfront, 15222) and shuttle departs at 6:30. Riders will begin their ride at the Yough Park in Connellsville at 8:15am.

40 Miles – Riders will begin and end at Washington’s Landing (600 Waterfront, 15222) and cycle through the city on the River Front Trails to meet the GAP trail, turning around in McKeesport.  This ride is enough of a challenge for an intermediate cyclist while enjoying the views that the city has to offer.  Registration opens at 9am at Washington’s Landing and riders take off at 10am.

14 Miles – Would you like to have a beautiful ride through the city on the River Front Trails but you are not ready to tackle many miles?  This ride is perfect for you.  Riders will begin and end at Washington’s Landing (600 Waterfront, 15222) doing a loop utilizing the trails and bridges.  Registration opens at 9am at Washington’s Landing and riders take off at 10:30am.

Finish Line Festival on Washington’s Landing – Celebrate your success with food, beverages, and entertainment at the Finish Line Festival!
